Amazingly two players that qualified for the main event of last week’s 2010 Aussie Millions tournament have walked away with a total of over $2.76 million after finishing in first and second spots. 23-year-old Tyron Krost from Sydney outlasted 748 competitors including 42 other PartyPoker.com online qualifiers at Melbourne’s Crown Casino to take first place and its $1.78 million prize.
Second prize of $981,000 went to Frederik Jensen from Copenhagen. The two online qualifiers dominated a final table that included star names such as Annette Obrestad and Sorel Mizzi while luminary Gus Hansen lost to winner to Krost earlier on. This is quite different from working in the family business quoted Krost and the psychology graduate says that he is looking forward to a future in poker!
