Leo Margets, who is relatively new to poker, battled the likes of Joe Hachem as a member of 888poker’s celebrity Aussie Millions team, which is captained by cricket legend Shane Warne. Margets has shown the Aussie Millions what she is made of, taking out third place in the Aussie Millions Event 19: $2,200 Six-Handed No Limit Hold-em’ tournament with AUD$58,400.
Known world-wide as the Last Woman Standing in the 2009 World Series of Poker and now as the last member standing of 888poker’s celebrity team in the 2010 Aussie Millions, Margets took up poker after being attracted to the fun, glamour and skill of the game, and she has not looked back. The Aussie Millions Poker Championship is the largest poker tournament in the southern hemisphere and was held at Melbourne Crown Casino from 14 to 31 January 2010.
