Electricity suppliers may be checking their equipment and meters next month as bills may be down over the next month all across the world with thousands of online poker players trading in their computer screens for the fast paced live action. The World Series of Poker begins this Friday and online players have already begun descending on Sin City.
Unsurprisingly, Las Vegas hotels are becoming booked up with online poker players who will be testing their skills in live action throughout the WSOP. Many different types of tournaments will be on display, and online players, just as they do every year, will attempt to prove they can play away from the comfort of their laptops.
The first event of the WSOP begins on Friday and will be for casino employees. Any casino employees from around the world can enter the tournament, and it is not limited to just poker room employees. The tournament has had thousands of players in the past, and a big turnout is expected this week.
